Becky Torvik
Business Operations
Becky brings curiosity, problem-solving, and a love of figuring out how things work to Business Operations at Burbity Workspaces. She naturally notices the little details others might miss and enjoys digging into systems, finding bottlenecks, and asking, “Is there a better way to do this?” If she doesn’t know the answer, that just means it’s time to research, experiment, ask questions, and figure it out.
With a master’s degree in organizational leadership, Becky has a particular interest in what makes organizations—and the people within them—thrive. She loves hearing people’s stories and learning how they got to where they are today. Having worked in different workplaces and under different leadership styles throughout her career, she’s seen firsthand the impact good leadership can have. At Burbity, she loves being part of a company that grew from an idea and a need and is excited to help build the systems and processes that will support where it goes next.
Outside of work, Becky is usually up for trying something new. She and her husband love exploring new restaurants, finding new places to hike and kayak, and seeing where their next adventure takes them. She also enjoys tackling projects around the house, spending time with friends and family, and attempting just about any creative endeavor that catches her attention. A few favorites have been woodworking, stained glass, and watercolor. One of her favorite traditions is picking a different coffee shop each month with her daughter, where they spend time together making art over coffee.
Whether she’s figuring out a better way to do something, starting another project, or heading out to explore somewhere new, Becky is happiest when there’s something to discover. Her music taste follows pretty much the same philosophy—she’ll listen to just about anything and can usually find at least one song she likes in every genre.
Steph Lambert
Community Coordinator
Steph is one of our dynamic Community Coordinators at Burbity. A role that lets her do what she cares about most: making people feel like they belong. Whether she's welcoming someone new or brainstorming the next event, connection is always at the heart of what she does.
Steph recently moved to Liberty Lake from the Seattle area — a bit of a homecoming since she grew up in Spokane until sixth grade. Now she's all about lake life: kayaking, paddleboarding, or reading in her hammock listening to the water.
Musically, she's happily stuck in the 80s and 90s (Alanis Morissette, Pat Benatar, U2, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews), with a soft spot for jazz while she works. She's a football fan through and through, cheering on college and the pros with a soft spot for the Las Vegas Raiders (Her husband's favorite team). A longtime dog lover and former professional dog walker, she hopes to welcome a new pup into the family soon. Outside of work, Steph's happiest with Matt and her two sons, soaking up simple moments together.
Ava M.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ava brings an extensive background in social media management and customer relationship-building to the Burbity team. She thrives at fostering community and keeping people connected.
Outside of her day-to-day operations, Ava is a full-time university student pursuing an Integrated Strategic Communications degree at WSU. Passionate and creative, in her free time she enjoys sharpening her graphic design skills, writing and listening to music, and playing video games with her friends back home.
A true Californian at heart, Ava loves the sunshine and indulges in all the best parts of summer, bringing that warmth both into her personal and professional life. Alongside the rest of the team, she is proud to bring an infectious amount of positivity to Burbity and contribute to the people-first mindset of the space!
